Linda Kay (Falck) Harms

| January 28, 2009 8:00 PM

Linda Kay (Falck) Harms was lifted up to our Lord on Jan. 26 2009.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1948, in Cresco, Iowa, her love of music began at the age of 5 and soon she played the clarinet; adding the study of the pipe organ before her teenage years. She became an accomplished organist by the age of 14 and passionately instructed organ and piano to many students throughout her life.

Linda was joined into marriage to Marvin Harms on May 4, 1968, in Storm Lake, Iowa. She is survived by her husband; two daughters; Debra Sedinger of Buffalo, N.Y., and Rebecca Carpenter of Meridian, Idaho; and son Matthew Harms of Sandpoint. She is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Falck of Storm Lake and Darrell Millard of Alta, Iowa; as well as her father Donald Falck of Waterloo, Iowa. Preceding her in death is her mother, stepfather, one grandson and two granddaughters.

They moved from Iowa to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1989. She carried her passion for teaching with her continuing to teach preschool and piano students. Marvin and Linda moved to Post Falls, Idaho, in 2000.

Our sorrow for our loss is tempered by our faith in the risen Lord who gives us victory even over death.
