Gustafson, Cartmell lead Cats past Warriors
KOOTENAI - Shaina Gustafson scored 11 and Jessica Cartmell added eight, and Clark Fork clamped down defensively in a 35-18 North Star League win over Kootenai Thursday night at Kootenai High School.
The Cats (6-9, 5-3 NSL) held the Warriors (0-15, 0-7 NSL) to two points in both the second and fourth quarters, and moved the ball efficiently.
“A lot of the girls got playing time,” said Cats coach Dexter Vogel of the one-sided win. “We moved the ball better and worked really well as a team tonight.”
Clark Fork, in second place behind Lakeside in league play, heads to Noxon on Saturday.
