Noxon defeats Clark Fork, 60-52

NOXON, Mont. — Jared Broggi and Chase Chowning both posted double-doubles, combing for 26 points and 23 rebounds, but Clark Fork’s comeback attempt fell short in the nonleague game.

Freshman Stillman Berkley scored 15 points to lead the Cats (3-10), who trailed by 17 points early.

“We never gave up and actually tied it in the second half, but couldn’t finish,” said Cats coach Melvin Speelmon. “We were in it until the end, when we had to foul.”

Cody Linderman led the Red Devils with 17 points.

Clark Fork is home against Mullan on Tuesday.
