Where is design for city's streets, creek?

Somewhere, out there, several years ago while all the hubbub and fear mongering was running rampart regarding the horrible “bypass” and all its destruction …there was, I recall, a plan, an idea, a beautiful concept of what could or should be done to make both the downtown Sandpoint city streets and the western banks of Sand Creek a real oasis for all, both residents and visitors alike. What happened?

 Someone had spent a great deal of time and energy in their design. Maybe someone should find those plans and re-present them. Perhaps this time they would be accepted without so much negativity. I personally thought it was a wonderful concept.

Who knows, maybe we could all work together. Might as well, can’t dance.
