Bonnie Lee Harvey, 74, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Blanchard, Idaho, with Pastor Jim Osman of the Kootenai Community Church officiating.

Bonnie was born Oct. 3, 1934, in Holbrook, Neb., to D.B. and Ruth Nevils. She grew up and attended schools in Campbell, Calif., graduating from Campbell High School.

Bonnie married James Stanley Harvey on July 5, 1952, in Campbell. The couple made their home in San Jose, Calif., and started a family. Stan’s work eventually moved the family to Summerville, S.C.

In 1972 Bonnie move with the kids to Spokane, Wash., and later settled in Blanchard. In 1997 she made her home in Kootenai, Idaho.

Bonnie is a member of the Kootenai Community Church, Sandpoint Senior Center, and Oden Busy Bees. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and music.

She is survived by three daughters, Alecia (Richard) Thomas of Wellington, Colo., LeeAnna (Gary) McDaniel of Arlington, Texas, and Sandra (Steve) Andrews of Sandpoint; two sons, Michael Harvey of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Matthew (Kristy) Harvey of Sandpoint; seven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Nevils.
