Why isn't county taking action?

| July 13, 2009 9:00 PM

Let me ask everyone, did you ever read “Catch 22?” Bonner County employees did. They practice it.

For four years, we have a junk yard in our location. No matter which way you come in, you’ll see it. I have tried to sell my home at a reasonable price so I could put the junk behind me. Can’t, people take one look and leave. I can’t, so I have to chase the planning department and now the new attorney for the county, who is not in.

The area has five junk cars, one up on a jack, two broken down motor homes, garbage of every kind, a dog tied to a tree without foot or water, trailers, boats, old mobile home trailers, etc.

What are they doing? Nothing. The commissioners never answer me. We have $500,000 homes here, so why are we considered not here? The road the county let them put in is illegal.

Maybe this will get their attention.
