Martin McBirney, 60

A memorial for Martin McBirney will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch from noon to 3 p.m.

Martin, 60, passed away May 22, 2009, after living in Sandpoint since 1992. He is survived by his wife, Karlen; and 13-year-old daughter, Margo; two sisters and their families; and his parents, Robert and Carmen of Eugene, Ore.

Casual or summer attire is suggested for the memorial, which will be held outside, weather permitting.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

On Saturday evening, friends and local musicians, Carl Rey and the Blues Gators, will be playing at Eichardt’s Pub and Grill in Sandpoint, one of Martin’s favorite spots.
