Jeanne Marie Olson
Jeanne Marie Olson was surrounded by family and friends when she passed away on July 25th, 2009.
Jeanne was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, grandmother and friend. She was born Aug. 15, 1935, in Whitehall, Wis., the daughter of Lewis John Olson and Grace Harrison.
She had five siblings: John, Judy, Don, Michael and Jerry Lou. Jeanne grew up in Strum, Wis.
She attended Consolidated High School, where she was involved in many activities: cheerleading, prom queen, newspaper staff, senior class president, pep club, band, choir, Future Homemakers of America and was involved in the Lazy Girls Club with a group of close friends.
After high school she attended nursing school at Shoreline Psychiatric Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis.
Jeanne wed David L. Lundean in October 1962 and had their first daughter, Claudia Jeanne.
Soon after the family moved to Spokane, Wash., she had a son, David John, and a daughter, Carolyn Ann.
They resided in Spokane until 1986 then moved to Sandpoint, Idaho.
Jeanne was a member of the PEO and the Alter Guild at St. Agnes Church. She was a proud grandmother of four beautiful grandkids, Randi M. Brown, Chase G. Binder, John R. Haynes and Taylor N. Lundean.
Jeanne will always be remembered for her compassion, kind heart, sweet and funny personality, patience and love.
She was and always will be our “lil mamma.”
As quoted in her yearbook: “Not very tall in fact small her good nature is loved by all.” She was always thought of by everyone as a true Angel.
Jeanne is survived by her three kids, David J. Lundean of Coeur d Alene, Carolyn A. Haynes of Coeur d Alene, and Claudia J. Lundean of Spokane. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Randi M.
