Questions about Obama's birth must be answered

| June 8, 2009 9:00 PM

Sen. Mike Crapo, Sen. James Risch and Rep. Walt Minnick,

There are too many questions concerning the president meeting the constitutional requirements to hold that office. It is time to put all the rumors to rest since it is one of the many stories and actions causing serious public distrust in the current administration.

The people are the government, and it is their right and duty to insure those in positions of power actually meet the required qualifications. In the case of President Barack Obama, there is a serious question as to whether he meets the citizenship requirements of the president of this country. This feeling is justified by the secrecy the president himself has put on his records of birth and schooling.

It is time to stop all the nonsense being put forth by the administration.

As a citizen of the United States, I am requesting that Congress remove the president from office until such time as all the relevant documents regarding his citizenship are presented to the American public.

Those documents are to be verified by a competent authority appointed by an independent citizen committee in lieu of someone questionable being appointed by current government officials.

Failure to satisfy the requirement to provide the public with proof of the president’s citizenship must result in immediate removal from that office!

I cannot believe that our representatives have allowed such a travesty to continue for so long.

The requested documents should have been made available to the people of this country before he was inaugurated. Instead, we the people were given a lot of double talk from some of our representatives and the president himself.
