Sotomayor is a 'reverse racist'

| June 10, 2009 9:00 PM

On Tuesday, May 26, 2009, Rush Limbaugh noted that Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor is a “reverse racist.” Mr. Limbaugh was, of course, referencing her often-repeated remark as follows: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.” Mr. Limbaugh certainly called it right regarding the clear and undeniable racism of Ms. Sotomayor.

A favorite saying of President Bill “I did not have sex with that woman” Clinton was,  “It is a no-brainer.” That the oft-repeated racist rant above by Sonia Sotomayor is pure racism is a no brainer. You cannot “spin” that comment into anything else. To even attempt to do so would be disingenuous and insulting. Ms. Sotomayor is by virtue of her highly offensive racist statement unfit for public office.

I would hope that not even a couple of far left Marxist radicals who have invaded our pristine North Idaho, would try and “spin” the racist rant of Ms. Sotomayor as “it depends on your definition of what is is,” to quote Bill Clinton again, the president who I opine slimed the presidency more than other in history to date (Obama is fast catching up).

Please take the time to write your U.S. senators and ask them to do all in their power to prevent an avowed racist from sliming the U.S. Supreme Court.
