First American Title welcomes new staff members
Fern Ellsworth, vice president of First American Title and manager of both Bonner and Boundary counties, is pleased to announce two additions to her staff.
First American welcomes back a strong and popular escrow professional, Dorothy Prophet. Dorothy brings a wealth of knowledge coupled with a high degree of professionalism to the real estate community in their real property transactions. She gained a solid knowledge of the challenges of real estate by first working as a realtor in the Seattle area, beginning her journey in 1983.
Looking for the benefits of a small community for her family, Dorothy relocated in 1994 to Sandpoint and has made Sandpoint her home. In 2000, Dorothy began her career as an escrow officer and found that her knowledge of real estate and her attention to detail, as well as her outgoing personality, gave her the opportunity to build solid and long standing professional relationships with many of the successful local Realtors.
Bringing 30 years of outstanding service as a title officer, First American also welcomes Tia Hermiston. Tia honed her title skills in Northern California, broadening her expertise to include very complicated title searches, as well as the unique concerns involved with timber and mining land, before moving to Clark Fork with her husband five years ago.
Her vast knowledge of the title industry is enhanced and complimented by her delivery of outstanding customer service and a desire to bring a positive experience to her clients. She is always ready to help clients gain understanding and knowledge in any title transaction and makes herself available for your questions. The accomplished title department at First American proudly welcomes the expertise of Tia Hermiston.
First American Title is located at 419 N. Second Ave., a beautifully restored historic building.
