Sandpoint Trader opening

From clothes to household items and everything in-between, a new consignment store is opening its doors.

Calling Sandpoint Trader “a daily indoor garage sale,” owner John Hobday said he will offer consignment on any item of value that is in good condition. That means a wide variety of quality goods for customers to choose from.

The store opens Saturday with a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The store is located at the corner of Olive and Superior, just south of Sandpoint City Hall.

Some of the items available for sale include a Honda 110 trail motorcycle, a generator, car racks for bicycles and kayaks, bicycle helmets, hunting bows, kitchen appliances, women’s clothing, yard tools, exercise equipment lawn more and more.

Also, the Vietnam Veterans chapter has an oak entertainment center on consignment at the shop as well as a new stereo system and two electric organs/pianos.

Hobday said he moved Alpine Realty to the Olive and Superior so that he could open Sandpoint Trader.
