School did a fantastic job on mathematics projects

| March 9, 2009 9:00 PM

Congratulations to the students (and faculty) at Northside School. On a recent Tuesday morning, I went out to the school to view mathematics projects done by the fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grades. I was impressed by the quality of the displays, the knowledge of the students on their particular subject and the time they must have spent in preparation. To be honest, I was floored and overwhelmed by the depth of the material. There wasn’t time for me to learn much and there was a lot that went over my head. (Please,  no comments from those who know me.)

It was also great to see the kids in the lower grades with their press credentials interviewing the students who had displays.

Are you smarter than a fifth grader? Try … are you smarter than a fourth grader? Kudos to Northside.
