Barbara Lea Bullock, 49, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009, in Sagle, Idaho.

Viewing for friends and family will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel with Johnnie Lawson officiating.

A potluck reception will follow in the Lakeview reception area.

Barbara was born on Oct. 25, 1959, in Missoula, Mont., to Andy and Verda Bullock. She grew up and attended schools in Sandpoint.

She later lived in Oregon working as a cook and in the canneries on the Indian reservations.

Barbara always extended a helping hand to those in need, and she helped raise numerous children over the years. She moved back to Sandpoint in 1994.

She enjoyed gardening, swimming, bead work, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by the love of her life, Joe Hunt of Sagle; two children, David Bullock and Brittney Markel, both of Sagle; her mother, Verda Bullock of Ponderay, Idaho; three sisters, Kathy Tully of Gillette, Wyo., Sue (Johnnie) Lawson of Kootenai, Idaho, and Lorraine (Michael) Lewis of Halfway, Ore.; and three brothers, Samuel (Debbie) Bullock of Gillette, John Bullock of Gillette, and David (Shannon) Bullock of Hayden Lake, Idaho. She is also survived by the Hunt family and special friends, Gail “Sissy” Chambers and Virginia Belgard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Bullock.
