More common sense, less government needed

| March 28, 2009 9:00 PM

If you want to stop starving horses, you need to have owners own horses who can feed them. The only law you can have that will do any good is one that rates people on how much disposeable income they have. If yo u can’t afford the proper care, don’t have a horse.

This is also a call to have slaughterhouses open for horses. There is nothing wrong with slaughtering those who can’t be taken proper care of — there are too many horses around because of irresponsible breeders. We don’t really need more laws — they mean more government. More common sense would be good.
