Cafe's closing is a loss for the entire community

The closing of the Elmira Store Cafe is a loss to the community.

It saddens me that even though the water sammples taken from the Elmira Store water system have passed water quality tests consistantly since 2002, that the Panhandle Health District could not work out another alternative to revoking the permit to operate.

The Elmira Store Cafe is at the heart of the community, a gathering place, a vacation tradition for many and the best burgers around.
