Norma Phyllis Taylor Nicholson, 44, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services have been held.  Interment will take place in Rockingham, Vt.

Norma was born Oct. 3, 1964, in Bellows Falls, Vt., the daughter of Fred and Irene (Lanou) Bussino.

She was a graduate of Bellows Falls Union High School, a member of the class of 1982.

Norma was a hard worker all her life.

While living in Vermont she worked at the family business, Buffum’s Supermarket in many positions, but would be best known as Deli manager and baker. She also worked at Jelly’s Market in Andover.

After moving to the Inland Northwest, Norma worked for Wal-Mart as an assistant manager and at Yoke’s Fresh Market in a variety of positions.

A loving, funny, and memorable lady, Norma brought a fun and efficient work ethic wherever she went, including her home.  That is where she taught her children love and self sacrifice, doing whatever it took to make sure her kids were provided for, both physically and emotionally.

We will always remember the love she taught us and how she extended that to all people, selflessly and wholeheartedly.

Norma leaves her companion of many years William “Bill” Nicholson of Sandpoint, Idaho; her four children, Zeb, AJ, Ariel, and Autumn Smith of Sandpoint;  and special friends James and Sandra Belvail of Sandpoint.  Survivors also include her mother, Irene, and her husband, Russell Schaeffer of Dover, Vt.; her brothers, Fred Marshey of Manchester, N.H., George Dolloph of Chester, Vt.T, Fred Bussino and wife Dianne of Rockingham,Vt., and William Bussino of Springfield, Vt.; and her sisters, Louise Wright and husband Caleb of Swanzey, N.H., Judy Gonthier of Goshen, N.H., Deborah Rose Wolf of Craftsbury, Vt., Julie Buffum and husband Earl of Springfield, Vt., and Melinda Lawrence and husband Chuck of Westminster, Vt., as well as many nieces and nephews and her stepmother Melinda Doyle Bussino of Putney, Vt.

Her father, Fred Bussino, is now reunited with his baby girl and is holding her close in his arms.
