Anna Louise Eldred, 87

Anna Louise Eldred, 87, passed away in Tacoma, Wash., on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Wayne Gunter will be officiating.

Anna was born in Black Diamond, Wash., on Oct. 29, 1922, the daughter of Andrew and Ella Egyed.

She married Robert Eldred on Feb. 11, 1939 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

In 1940 the family moved to Tacoma, Wash., where Robert operated a Shell service station.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne White of Tacoma and Veda (Craig) Fisher of Baltimore, Md.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Cranor in Valdez, Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and a daughter, Ellen.
