Plaster is polite and a true gentleman

Please refer to your letters to the editor in the Nov. 1, 2009, Bee concerning Leonard Plaster. I have two gripes.

First and foremost, I’m surprised why Mike Winslow has the audacity to imply Leonard has had numerous encounters with the judicial system. And furthermore, why he had to bring up the subject. Who cares? Is Mike a frustrated ex-player who never made it, vindictive, jealous or just plain mean.

Second, I’m appalled that the Bee would print such a slanderous commentary.

I’ve only spoken to Leonard on three or four occasions and he’s always been a considerate conversationalist and a rather quiet individual. Never a braggart or blowhard, always polite and a true gentleman.

Shame on the Bee.
