KALISPELL, Mont. — Daniel Anderson scored the Bulldogs’ only goal in a 6-1 defeat on the road against Stillwater Christian Thursday evening.
The Bulldogs (12-2-2) beat Stillwater 6-1 earlier in the season, but opted to sit many of their starters in the second meeting.
“We played a lot of JV’s today, didn’t want to take any chances with injuries,” said Sandpoint coach Randy Thoreson. “The season comes down to one game with Moscow.”
Thoreson was referring to the probable meeting between the two teams next Thursday in Sandpoint, provided the Bears beat the Hawks in the 4A Region 1 opener on Tuesday.
