Bulldog swimmers undefeated at Clarkston duals

CLARKSTON — Chris Mann (100 free), Garret Dunn (100 back), Keeley Pearlstein (100 back) and Michelle Rockwell (200 free) each won individual races to lead the Sandpoint swim teams to an undefeated finish in duals swimming action Saturday in Clarkston.

The boys and girls teams combined to beat Lake City 148 to 141, Lewiston 164 to 115 and Post Falls 185 to 103 in the three duals. All of the teams top times were combined for the overall individual wins.

Also placing in the top three for the Sandpoint girls were: Emily Morris (3rd in 100 back), Rockwell (2nd in 500 free), Pearlstein (3rd in 100 butterfly), Alex Krames (2nd in 200 IM) and Shannon Curran (2nd in the 100 free and 3rd in the 50 free).

Other top three finishers for the boys team were: Dunn (2nd in 200 IM), Nik Thorell (2nd in 50 free), Luke Brandenberg (2nd in 500 free and 3rd in 50 free), Mann (3rd in 100 butterfly), Graham Cole (2nd in 100 free), Zak Roundy (3rd in 500 free) and Eddie Ogle (3rd 100 breaststroke).

Sandpoint hosts Coeur d’Alene on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the SWAC.
