Front-page photos clashed badly

It is ironic that The Bee carried two pictures on its front page on October 14 that are diametrically and philosophically opposed to each other.

The first image is of a young boy holding a puppy at the blessing of the animals at the Panhandle Animal Shelter. The second is a proud hunter with a magnificent wolf which he just shot. If there is such a thing as karma or poetic justice, the hunter should get retribution on one of his killing expeditions.
