Important changes needed in Sandpoint

Important changes are needed to Sandpoint’s City Council. As a former city council member who continues to attend council meetings, I have seen some incumbents demean members of the public, the mayor, staff, and other councilors.

We won’t always agree, but the most important thing is to treat all people with respect.

These same incumbents sometimes appear to give some citizens special treatment. This uneven enforcement wastes time and is unfair to the majority of Sandpoint citizens. It is important to treat everyone, and every neighborhood, fairly.

If you are registered to vote in Sandpoint, you can vote now during normal City Hall business hours. If you need to register, you may do so when voting at City Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
