Muriel Wonson Thibodeau Chesley, 92

Our loving mom, Muriel Wonson Thibodeau Chesley, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and former resident of Sandpoint, Idaho, from 1956-1969, passed away quietly in Coeur d’Alene following a short illness on Oct. 16, 2009. She was 92.

Mom was born in Gloucester, Mass., to Sophia Bray Wonson and Thomas Albert Thibodeau on Sept. 8, 1917.

While in Sandpoint, she worked as a waitress at Don’s Drive-In and the North Shore Lodge.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1997;she is survived by her six children, Ted of Coeur d’Alene, Melody (Pat) of Richmond, Calif., Fred of Seattle, Wash., Andy of Salem, Ore., Ray of West Linn, Ore. , and Carol Sue of Springfield, Ore; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was held on Oct. 23, 2009, and she was interred at St Thomas Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
