Norma P. Grimes, 83

Norma P. Grimes, 83, after a long, brave, battle with cancer went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, in the New Song Bible Church. Pastor Barry Johnson will conduct the services.

Norma was born in San Bernardino, Calif., on Dec, 18, 1925. She attended schools in California and graduated from Fremont High School in Oakland, Calif., in 1941.

In California she worked for Sears and for Sunset Designs, designing stitchery kits.

Norma lived in Walnut Creek, Calif., and married Clifford J. Grimes on Dec. 5, 1970 in Danville, Calif.

In 1977 she moved to Sagle, Idaho, and worked in the Senior Companion program from 1986 until 2001.

Norma was a member of the New Song Bible Church. She loved her family, her cats, and her dogs.

She is survived by her husband Cliff Grimes of Sagle; two children, Jacquelyn (and Ronald) Davis of Sagle and Michael (and Ellen) Tweed of Pasadena, Calif.; two granddaughters, Sheri (and Brant) Roberts and Sara Tweed, and a great-granddaughter, Lily Anne Roberts, all of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and a grandson John Paul Mann.
