Jed B. Haines, 50

Jed B. Haines, 50, of Priest River, Idaho died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at his home.  He was born July 5, 1959, in Houston, Texas, the son of George and Carol Haines.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Murray Hill Cemetery in Clatskanie, Ore.

Jed lived in the Houston area until he was in his mid teens when he moved to Washing-ton to be with his brother, later returning to Houston.  He served in the US Army. In 1979 he married Jamie Hantz, they were later divorced.

In 2001, he married Becky Henson in Winlock, Wash. They lived in Texas and Oregon and in 2007 they moved to Priest River, Idaho.

 Jed was a member of the LDS Church. 

He was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife, Becky, of Priest River; his five children, Junice Edmonds of New Caney, Texas, James Haines of Montgomery, Texas,  Janice Haines of Athol, Idaho, and  Jade Haines and Jordan Haines, both of Priest River; three brothers, Jack Haines of Farmington, N.M., Jerry Haines of Deer Park, Texas, and Jeff Haines Lee of Houston, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
