Kaiti Lunde led the Bulldgs with four blocks in a 25-23, 25-15, 25-17 road win over Post Falls Thursday night.

Piper Wahlin led Sandpoint with 12 kills and 17 digs, Koko James had 18 assists, and Christina Johnson tallied 15 digs, seven kills and four service aces to lead the Bulldogs (1-0, 1-0 IEL), who got off to a slow start before finally finding a groove.

“It wasn’t a great opener. Post Falls played really well, and it didn’t look like an opening game for them,” said Bulldogs head coach Karen Alsager. “We couldn’t get into a rhythm until halfway through our second game.”

Sandpoint will host Coeur d’Alene on Tuesday in a home-opener at Les Rogers Court.
