Mullan downs Clark Fork

| September 4, 2009 9:00 PM

CLARK FORK — Mullan scored the first three touchdowns of the game to provide all of the cushion they would need in a 36-12 North Star League win over host Clark Fork on Friday night.

Casey McKinnon and Tucker Saddler each rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Tigers, who were the aggressor early in the game while building a 30-6 lead.

“Mullan came out and out-hit us, got us on our heels,” said Wampus Cats head coach Brian Arthun. “In the fourth quarter we came around and finally started hitting and moving the ball on offense.”

Senior Chaunce Nesbitt scored on a 31 yard run, and freshman Axel Anderson caught a three yard touchdown from quarterback Nate Nesbitt for Clark Fork’s only scores.

Clark Fork (0-2) is at Wallace next Friday.
