| September 4, 2009 9:00 PM

SANDPOINT — Anders Nostdahl scored two goals and added an assist, and four other Sandpoint players found the back of the net as the Bulldogs smoked Stillwater Christian 6-1 Friday afternoon in nonleague boys soccer at Great Northern Park.

Nostdahl now has five goals on the season to lead Sandpoint (4-0-1), which also got goals from Daniel Anderson, Tanner Williams, Adam Crossingham and Zac Linscott. The Bulldogs played crisply, as most of the starters are finally healthy for the first time all year and the newer players are settling in.

“I liked our possession, it was the best we’ve played with movement off the ball,” said head coach Randy Thoreson. “Definitely smooth soccer. Every line has quality players.”

Sandpoint plays at Post Falls on Tuesday.

n Bulldogs shut out by Pasco

PASCO, Wash. — Pasco scored goals in the 2nd and 7th minute to jump start a 6-0 win over the Sandpoint girls soccer team on Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs (3-1) suffered their first loss of the season, starting the game flat after a long bus ride and never fully recovering.

“An uncharacteristic start for us,” said head coach Adam Tajan, lauding the high tempo play of Pasco. “They came at us with a lot of speed and we weren’t ready for it. Hopefully we can learn from it. That’s why we schedule these kinds of games.”

The Bulldogs face Richland today in another tough contest.

First half — 1, Pas, Shawna Anderson, 2:00. 2, Pas, Kaylie Winston, 7:00. 3, Pas, Anderson, 15:00. Second half — 4, Pas, Anderson, 48:00. 5, Pas, Winston, 67:00. 6, Winston, 69:00.
