Owner's boycott of Vick is positive move

| September 5, 2009 9:00 PM

In response to the article regarding Slates boycotting the NFL’s Eagles, as a professional businessman trying to set an example, it seems that maybe the owner of Slates should continue to sell Coors beer and air Eagles games and use those profits to donate to the spay and neuter clinic and the local animal shelter.

This should be about positive changes, helping to change the way some people view and treat animals and I think the owner of Slates has an opportunity to do something very positive. I don’t think the point he is trying to make will make much of a dent. Maybe I didn’t think this through any better than he did, but it seems like a great way to prove a point, possibly get others to join in and help out a very needful organization in a very positive manner.
