Gerard 'Rick' Fitchett, 53

Gerard “Rick” Fitchett, 53, passed away in Missoula, Mont., on Tuesday, Sept. 08, 2009.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at 10 a.m., in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Dale Coffelt will be officiating.

Rick was born in Spokane, Wash., the son of Paul and Sharlene Fitchett.

He attended schools in Heron, Mont., graduating from Noxon High School. He later attended college in Bozeman, Mont., and graduated from North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with an associate of science degree.

Rick served with the United States Air Force, in Germany during Vietnam. He worked for Lead-Lock and traveled throughout Italy and Spain helping to train on the use of the machines they sold.

He had also worked for W.I.S. and was currently employed at Unicep Packaging.

Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his mini farm and with his horses. He had recently purchased a new Harley Davidson, and had taken an extended trip through Glacier National Park and Montana.

 Rick is survived by his wife, Pat Moreland of Sagle, Idaho; his parents, Paul and Sharlene Fitchett of Heron, Mont.; two brothers, Dan Fitchett of Kalispell, Mont., and Calvin Fitchett of Heron, Mont.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers Mike and Frankie.
