Macumber leads Clark Fork past Noxon

CLARK FORK — Chelsea Macumber had 13 kills and four service aces to help lead the Wampus Cats to a 24-26, 25-14, 25-14, 25-17 win over Noxon Thursday in a home opener at Clark Fork High School.

Shaina Gustafson added eight kills and four assists, and Celeste Komanec tallied 24 assists as the Cats (3-0) remain undefeated on the season.

“We played with some nerves in the first game,” said head coach Carolyn Speelmon. “Once we got that over we played well; played our game.”

Clark Fork is at Lakeside on Tuesday.
