City needs to make intersection safer
Busy blind corners are fun; you never know what you are going to hit.
The northeast corner of the Larch and Boyer intersection by the old Louisiana-Pacific mill and proposed Super 1 site is always a gamble if crossing or turning south on Boyer.
So much was made of the dropped willows, which are making a healthy comeback, it probably would not be politically correct to whack the Mugo pines that are between the street and sidewalk. After the tizzy the county went through on Sunnyside Road, why would the city even consider entering into an emotionally charged quagmire of its own. Clearly line of site is not territory for consideration of the city’s public safety committee.
Oh well, what the heck, it could get solved in a (roundabout) way. In the meantime, let the fun continue.
