COEUR d’ALENE — Elli Kiselica scored off a free kick in extra time as the visiting Bulldogs tied the Timberwolves 1-1 in nonleague play at the Irma Anderl Soccer Complex.

After a foul on Lake City (3-1-2), Kiselica took the kick from 35 yards out with time winding down. The ball was misplayed by Lake City’s keeper and went into the goal, earning Sandpoint (4-3-1) its first tie of the season.

“It was a coaching error,” Lake City coach Matt Ruchti said. “They were hoping something would happen on the last play of the game, and it did. The kids deserved to win today.”

Jordan Chandler scored off a cross for Lake City in the 15th minute. The T-Wolves missed a penalty kick 10 minutes into the second half that would have made it 2-0.
