Mann, Dunn and Pearlstein nab wins

SANDPOINT — Junior Chris Mann won the 200 and 400 freestyle to lead the Sandpoint boys to the team title over Coeur d’Alene, Lake City and Post Falls Saturday in a swim meet at the Sandpoint West Athletic Club.

Garrett Dunn won the 100 backstroke and finished second in the 200 individual medley, Graham Cole placed second in the 50 free, Barry Wilson took second in the 100 free and Nik Thorell finished third in the 100 free to round out the boys top three placers.

Keeley Pearlstein won the 100 backstroke and finished third in the 100 butterfly, Shannon Curran finished second in the 50 and 100 free, and Michele Rockwell and Sam Trulock finished second and third, respectively, in both the 200 and 400 free to round out the top girls placers.

The swim team hits the road next Saturday for a meet against Moscow, Lewiston and Lake City.
