Comments have no basis in fact
Propagandists always go hunting for a narrative by using selected data points pulled together from all the data to support the bias they are obtruding into the national debate.
Enter Bob Wynhausen. The other day, he writes and attacks the Republicans, who have very limited power at present, for using parliamentary maneuverings that Democrats are not strangers to. He further attacks their First Amendment rights to free speech, arguing that their words are responsible for all the death threats that the left-wing media is eagerly covering. He talks about bricks through windows of Democrats, but mentions nothing about a bullet through a Republican’s window. Nor the steady stream of threats on all persons in power. However, the House sergeant-at-arms reports there is no increase in threats against any congressman.
Wynhausen then cleverly refers to Timothy McVeigh as someone who caused massive destruction at Oklahoma City due to Republican and conservative use of free speech, forgetting that it was Janet Reno and the Clinton Administration’s actions at Waco and perhaps Ruby Ridge that were the true reasons cited by McVeigh for his evil actions. Wynhausen actually blames it on Newt Gingrich and an “atmosphere that encouraged” the Oklahoma City bombing. That murderous tragedy was actually timed by McVeigh to occur on the second anniversary of the Waco incident.
Wynhausen’s incendiary remarks, kooky as they are, have no basis in truth telling; they are merely selected data points to support his warped far-left misinformation and moronic propaganda.
