Kaythern K. Sherman, 89

Kaythern K. Sherman, 89, died Monday April 5, 2010 at Evergreen Hot Springs Care Center in Hot Springs, Mont.

She was born Sept. 7, 1920, in Sacramento, Calif. She grew up and attended school in Sacramento, Calif.

Kaythern married Woody Sherman in 1941 in Lovelock, Nev. They moved to Montana in the 1940s.

She enjoyed painting, playing the guitar, horse back riding and yard sales.

Her husband, Woody, a son, David, and a granddaughter preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Richard Sherman and his wife Debbie of Marion, Mont.; a daughter-in-law, Joan Sherman of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren Kari Courts and husband Daniel of Clarkston, Wash., Jarred Sherman of California, Kartrina Morgan and husband Ben of Colorado, Luke Sherman and wife Kari of Colorado, and Jeremiah Bennett and wife Angi; and a great-granddaughter, Cadence Bennett of Kalispell, Mont.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness in Kalispell.

Local arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby, Mont.
