Anthony Joerger

Graveside rites will be held for Anthony Joerger on Saturday, April 17, 2010,  at 10 a.m. at the Mountain View Niche Wall  in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Father Dennis C. Day will officiate.

Anthony was born in Mitchell, S.D., on Oct. 12, 1963, the son of Clarence and Norma Joerger. He graduated from high school in Woonsocket, S.D., in 1982 and attended the Benedictine Monestary in Corpus Christi, Texas, for two years. He moved to Sand-point, Idaho, in 1985 and has worked for various restaurants in the Sandpoint area.

He was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a Past Grand Knight. He enjoyed reading, traveling, and socializing in Sandpoint.

Anthony is survived by his father, Clarence Joerger in Grangeville, Idaho; three sisters Cecelia Seitz in Grinnell, Iowa, Roxanne Finney in Spirit Lake, Idaho, and Lois Tanner in Enid, Okla.; and many, many friends in Sandpoint.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma; and 2 brothers, Carl and George Joerger.
