Candidate forums set

SANDPOINT — There will be plenty of opportunities for voters to get know those seeking elected office in Idaho and Bonner County.

The following candidate forums are planned:

• Sunday, May 2 — The Edgemere Grange is hosting federal, state and legislative candidates at 7 p.m. All candidates in those races are invited to attend, although only candidates in contested primary races will speak.

• Friday, May 7 — The Blanchard Grange is hosting a forum with the same ground rules at 7 p.m. for federal, state and legislative candidates.

• Saturday, May 15 — Candidates for county office who are in contested primary elections will be at the Clark Fork VFW Hall at 6 p.m.

• Monday, May 17 — The Blanchard Grange will host county candidates in contested primary races at 7 p.m.

• Friday, May 21 — The Edgemere Grange forum for county candidates in contested primary races is slated for 7 p.m.
