Slow down and don't drive your car so fast

| April 21, 2010 9:00 PM

I have a questions — when did they raise the speed limit in town? I thought the signs still said 25 mph. If this is true, then why do I have someone rush up behind me, when I’m driving the speed limit, tailgate, then hit the accelerator and speed around me when I turn off?

I have noticed flailing arms, and other gestures in my rearview mirror. Hey, if you don’t want to drive the speed limit, go a different route and don’t follow me — especially through a school zone. As far as I know, they are still 20 mph, not 45 mph. Don’t expect me to turn right, or left, onto Fifth Avenue from Cedar Street if the light is red. Honking your horn won’t get me to turn until the light is green. If you want to get a ticket, for whatever reason, that’s between you, and the police but don’t expect me to drive like you, just because I’m in front of you.
