PLAINS, Mont. — Tess Vogel shot a season-low 122, and Tabitha Van Buren a 124 to lead the Clark Fork golf team at a recent eight-team meet in Plains, Montana.

Wampus Cat head coach K.C. MacDonald was impressed with the surprising play of both players, and loves how the entire young team is progressing.

“The day went well considering limited practice and this was some of the kids first big tournament,” he said. “The rest of the team will continue to work on practice and chipping.”

David Thibault led the boys team with a 129, followed by Bryce Bare (132) and Ryan Barnett (156). Paige Gear (144) and Joann Johnson (146) rounded out the girls scores.
