Bulldogs fall on road to Vikings

COEUR d’ALENE — Sandpoint plated three runs in the first inning, but the lead was short-lived as Coeur d’Alene bounced back with five runs in the bottom of the frame and cruised to a 13-3 win Thursday afternoon at Ted Page Field in Coeur d’Alene.

Daniel Charvoz had two hits to lead the Bulldogs (6-7), who were plagued by four errors which resulted in two big innings for the Vikings (14-6), who scored six runs in the bottom of five to end the game via the 10 run rule.

Sandpoint hosts Bonners Ferry today, with first pitch slated for 4 p.m. at War Memorial Field.
