Lloyd Charles 'Chuck' Jones, 53

Lloyd Charles “Chuck” Jones, 53, passed away near Sandpoint, Idaho, on Saturday, April 24, 2010.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010, in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Dale Coffelt will be conducting the services.

Lloyd was born in Sandpoint on Feb. 13, 1957, the son of Lloyd and Kareen Jones.

He graduated from high school in Enon, Ohio, in 1975.

Lloyd served three years with the U.S. Marine Corp, being stationed in Hawaii. He returned to Enon and worked as a carpenter.

In 1985 he moved to Denver, Colo., and worked as a mechanic on heavy equipment, moving to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1990.

Chuck has worked at Schweitzer Ski Basin and Hidden Lakes Golf Course as a mechanic and carpenter.

He enjoyed doing mechanical work on friends cars and boats, everybody learned to rely on Chuck.

He is survived by his four children, Anndrea Jones in Alabama, Cora Melton in Tennessee, Ashley Brady in Clark Fork, Idaho, and Krystal Jones in Sandpoint; eight grandchildren; his mother, Kareen Jones in Enon; a brother, Richard Jones in California; and three sisters, Kathleen Baker, Sue Morris and Elenora Jones, all in Ohio.

Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.
