POST FALLS — Jessie Webster-Merwin fired an 84, good for 6th overall out of 50 golfers, to lead the Bulldog girls golf team to a fourth place finish at the Sandpoint Invitational Monday at the Links in Post Falls.

The girls team continues to improve as each player continues to drop strokes as the season progresses.

Mike Lewis and Connor Currie each carded 85’s to lead the boys team, which finished ninth. Head coach Jim Alsager was pleased with the surprising play of Michael Lorden, whose 88 shattered his previous career low.

“He skipped right through the 90’s to get into the 80’s for the first time,” said Alsager. “There were good scoring conditions today.”
