TGIF workshop offers sales training

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce’s Business Development committee is offering the TGIF Workshop “Sales for the Non-Sales Professional” on Aug. 20 at the Holiday Inn Express in Ponderay.

Covering a variety of business topics, these workshops are designed to provide essential resources and skills to develop entrepreneurship and the community’s workforce.

Launched in 2009 the 90-minute workshops provide instruction on niche topics of interest to area businesses. For this workshop, instructor Bill Ezell – CEO and founder of Client Success Group, will focus on basic selling skills for small business owners seeking to improve how to identify and generate revenue.

Bill brings more than 30 years experience in various communication driven markets. His unique blend of tactical skills and strategic vision have developed and launched products and services generating millions in revenue.

Topics which will be covered in the workshop include:

n Building a structured customer focused plan

n Planning sales calls and meetings

n Learning basic presentation skills

n Developing effective communications skills with buyers

n Acquiring account management principles

n Achieving revenue and profit targets

n Acquiring basic tools to improve efficiency

The workshops continue throughout the year, with future workshops planned. The cost is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members and includes a boxed lunch. The TGIF Workshop series is presented by the Bonner Business Center and provides business owners and professionals affordable, 90 minute workshops.
