Harriet Fay Sheffler

Harriet Fay Sheffler passed away at her daughter Annette Marks’ residence in Laclede, Idaho, on Tuesday evening, Aug. 3, 2010.  She was 82. 

She was married to Edward Sheffler for 36 years before his death in 1984.  She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Her hobbies were crocheting, plastic canvas, crossword puzzles, reading, her flower garden, feeding the birds, genealogy, and collecting anything with cows and pigs.

She is survived by her children, Linda and Jim York, Ed and Linda Sheffler, Kevin and Barb Sheffler, Chris and Ava Sheffler, Annette and John Marks, Bonnie and Paul Hillestad; and 47 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and  great-great-grandchild; a brother, Gordan Rembowski; and sisters, Delores McFadden and Noney Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; sons, Greg and Clarence; sister, Florence Palmer; a brother, Leon Rembowski and her parents, Leo and Lucille Rembowski.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at the Sandpoint Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from  1-1:45 p.m.
