Final week of SWAC summer camp on tap

SANDPOINT — The eighth and final week of the Sandpoint West Athletic Club Summer Adventure Camp is a great way for area 10-12 year-olds to end the summer in style, with a big week of fun in store for the grand finale.

The camp will run from Monday, Aug. 16 through Friday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The cost of the camp is just $60, and space is limited, so sign up at the SWAC front desk soon to ensure a spot.

The final week’s theme is “Around the world in five days,” with each day featuring a different country. The week will end with a field trip to Silverwood, where kids will be able to enjoy both the rides and water park.

Campers will swim every day, either at City Beach or the SWAC, and lunch is also included each day.
