Napoleon J. “Paul” La Croix, 67 of Sagle, Idaho, died suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, in Sagle.

Paul was born Feb. 4, 1943, in Waterville, Maine, one of 21 children born to Alfred and Cecile La Croix.

Paul traveled as a service engineer manager for the beverage packaging industry.

Paul and wife, Sandy, moved to Sagle in 1995.

After his retirement in 2005, Paul lived his dream of daily walks in the woods where he delighted in finding trees which he could mill into lumber and transform into unique treasures for his family and friends.

He also participated in the construction of the Bottle Bay Fire Station in Sagle.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; brothers, Robert and Albert; sister, Char-lene; children, Shane, Kimber-ly, William, Angela, and Richard; numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his walking buddy and good friend, Ralph. He was a very much loved man.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at New Song Bible Church on Highway 95 in Sagle.
