Residents have made trip to area a treat

I have had the pleasure of staying in Sandpoint for five weeks.

May I convey, through your newspaper, the thoughts that inspired my letter.

First, be proud of your beautiful county. But foremost, the people who have bestowed their kindness and thoughtfulness. They smile, they are happy and bid you, “Have a good day” and “Have a good night.” It is a joy to shop in Walmart, their services are excellent, the restaurants and cafes and library are good.

Everyone I have encountered upon my brief visit, God bless you all and God bless America. Be proud, as I am.
