Legislation violates our right to food

Fellow Idahoans:  Please contact our senators and tell them to vote “no” on Senate Bill S510 (Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010) which is poised to be voted on soon. This bill will make it illegal to grow, share, trade, transport, sell, or feed and eat any homegrown food.

It will extend control over all food in the U.S., violating the fundamental human right to food.

This bill puts all U.S. food and all U.S. farms under Homeland Security and the Department of Defense.
